Position Summary
The Food & Beverage (F&B) Lead plays a vital role in supporting the campus Food & Beverage Manager by providing both hands-on leadership and key administrative support across café and food service operations. This position helps ensure excellent hospitality, consistent execution, and a healthy team culture.

The F&B Lead gives the Manager “altitude” by overseeing daily operations, guiding and supporting team members and volunteers, and managing essential tasks such as ordering, inventory, and documentation.


Key Responsibilities
• Provide on-the-ground leadership during shifts to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming guest experience.
• Supervise and support F&B team members and volunteers, including building
relationships, actively recruiting, onboarding, training, and retaining volunteers to create healthy campus teams.
• Manage ordering, receiving, and stocking of products and supplies (Sysco, Sam’s Club, Aramark, transfers, etc.).
• Assist in ordering and coordinating food for campus events (Community Nights,
Women’s Events, etc.), in collaboration with the Campus F&B Manager and ministry teams, as directed.
• Track and maintain inventory with proper product dating, FIFO standards, and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with health, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times.
• Upload receipts, process invoices, and complete administrative documentation
accurately and on time.
• Assist with scheduling, event preparation, and restocking of green rooms, break rooms,
and café/food service areas.
• Support café or food service shifts during weekends and special events, as needed.
• Participate in campus staff meetings and foster strong relational connections with the
campus team, fully investing in being a part of the local ministry team.
 

Qualifications
• Previous experience in food service, café operations, or hospitality strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Relational leadership style, with proven ability to build team culture and partner
effectively with both volunteers and campus staff.
• Knowledge of food safety practices; Food Manager certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Flexibility to serve in both café and food service environments, adjusting as needs arise.


Work Expectations
• Permanent Part-Time: 20–25 hours per week (up to 115 hours monthly).
• Requires availability on weekends, evenings, and event-based schedules.
