The starting pay for this role is $75,890 annually.
This is a hybrid/remote role.
About the role:
Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining custom applications for the Credit Union's core system that are fundamental to the operations of the organization. Supports the business decision making process and strategic initiatives of the Credit Union by developing processes and applications that streamline member interactions and internal functions.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and maintains custom applications for the Credit Union’s core system and programs other requested applications for the Credit Union ancillary systems by utilizing available development tools.
- Document system processes and developed applications to maintain operational efficiency within the organization
- Collaborates with business units to define, design, and implement new and enhance pre-existing processes.
- Validates and ensures the integrity of integrations to the Credit Union's core and supporting information systems used for the business needs of the organization
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
- (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
- Work involves contact with people beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Other Skills:
- Knowledge of structured programming, Windows programming environment, Symitar PowerOn, SQL architecture and reporting, and HTML5 and JavaScript web development. Ability to think orderly, logically, and analytically with strong problem-solving skills.
