LSE Student Intern - Engineering and Tech Support Specialist bei Savannah River Nuclear Solutions

The hourly base rate of pay for this internship starts at $18.00, and may increase based on major and class standing.

A Computer Systems Administrator's duties include installing and configuring hardware and software, managing and maintaining network infrastructure such as basic switches, troubleshooting issues such as copier/printer problems and providing technical support to employees for PC's. They also perform upgrades and document system processes for efficient operations.

Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.

Must be a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university, or within one year after finishing a degree program.

Must have completed freshman year of college.

Must successfully complete Savannah River Site General Employee Training and substance abuse processing.

• Understanding of Cybersecurity frameworks including NIST 800-53, DISA, CIS, RMF and ATO processes.
• Experience implementing and maintaining security hardening standards and baselines.
• Experience with compliance and vulnerability scanning tools and management processes (Tenable, ACAS, SCAP or similar).
• Experience with project management, including planning, resource allocation, and coordination.
• Experience in a senior role within a team is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Strong experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V or KVM).
Advances knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration
