Field Operations Manager - Structural Steel & Miscellaneous Metals

Location: Orlando, FL | Travel Required

About the Role: Florida Atlantic Ironworks, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to lead our structural steel and miscellaneous metals erection teams. This key role oversees multiple job sites, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage superintendents, foremen, and ironworker crews.
• Plan manpower and equipment needs to meet project demands.
• Ensure compliance with AISC, PCI, AWS, SDI, SJI, and OSHA standards.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and support field teams.
• Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Report on job progress, labor performance, and safety metrics.

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years in structural steel erection, with 3+ years in field management.
• Strong knowledge of steel erection, rigging, crane operations, and logistics.
• OSHA 30 required; additional rigging/safety certifications a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
• Valid driver's license (must match state of residence)
• DOT Medical Card (possess or ability to obtain)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
