Job Summary
The Senior Talent Advisor is responsible for finding talent, building a strong employer brand and ensuring great relationships with both candidates, clients, and the Cano Health community. Recruits top talent in the marketplace through sourcing, establishes relationships, assesses staffing needs, and develops local, regional, or national recruitment, marketing and communication strategies to attract top talent. Serves as advisor to hiring managers and leadership on procedures and best practices related to the hiring and employment process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Builds pipelines of candidates through the establishment and utilization of relationships with online groups, centers of influence, and other candidate sources as needed.
- Develops local, regional, or national recruitment, marketing and communication strategies to attract top talent.
- Recruits top talent, including providers and director level and above, in the marketplace through in-person sourcing strategies and attending all viable recruiting, community and networking events.
- Leads proactive searches utilizing creative and cost-effective sourcing methods to recruit for exempt positions, and designs and implements targeted advertising strategies
- Consults and coaches hiring managers on identifying hiring needs, on the recruiting process, including candidate hiring stream, communication and salary negotiations.
- Advises and provides guidance to senior leaders, managers, and medical directors throughout full-recruitment cycle on matters related to established company policies, sourcing strategies, establishment of evaluation criteria, pre-employment processes and on-boarding of selected candidates.
- Implements recruitment plan to source, recruit, screen, interview candidates, and makes finalist recommendations, and reports on activity on a regular and consistent basis.
- Communicates with candidates on details of the job and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions or career opportunities.
- Organizes and schedules any interactions with the candidate through the hiring process, and interviews candidates about their relevant experience, education and skills.
- Establishes client relationships in the business and assesses talent needs.
- Leads the utilization and optimization of the applicant tracking system and other tools used in the talent acquisition process.
- Works with Chief People Officer, VP Talent Acquisition, Operations and Business Management in planning, designing, coordinating, and implementing of company-wide recruitment training and education initiatives for Cano community.
- Facilitates training sessions for managers on policies, and practices including effective search processes, interview and selection techniques, and facilitating positive candidate experiences.
- Implements recruitment plan to source, recruit, screen, interview candidates, and makes finalist recommendations.
- Assists the Talent Acquisition leadership in development and implementation of special projects for the department.
- Conducts benchmarking studies and researches best practices for further consideration.
- Conducts periodic assessments and surveys to measure effectiveness of programs and services.
- Serves as liaison with executive search firms and/or staffing agencies as business needs arises.
- Supports and takes action to ensure a structured and exceptional onboarding plan for each associate that is hired or placed in a new role.
- Involved in new hire orientation as needed, and supports a successful new hire orientation process.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant, related field or equivalent experience,
- Minimum 4 years recruiting or HR experience in a similar, comparable role
- Experience working with senior level managers
- Healthcare and/or hospital experience preferred

Physical Requirements
This position works under usual office conditions. The associate is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders and standing for long periods of time. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
