Description

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, associate engagement, and compliance. As an HR Intern, you’ll work closely with experienced professionals who are dedicated to helping you learn and grow in a supportive, collaborative environment. This position will also collaborate closely with our corporate marketing team on event planning and communications. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and eager to learn about HR operations in a team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Associate Development and on-going projects

  • Assist with planning associate engagement and wellness events

  • Conduct research on HR best practices and industry trends

  • Collaborate with our Corporate Recruiting team to develop strategies for recruiting at local colleges and universities

  • Prepare interview materials and assist with interview logistics

  • Assist with the execution of intern programming and events during the summer

  • Collaborate with our Corporate Marketing team with event execution and engagement

  • Assist with other duties throughout the HR division as requested

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field

  • Junior or senior standing preferred

  • Ability to organize data, multi-task and make decisions independently

  • Above average communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Ability to resolve complex issues.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset

  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative
