Salary: Based On Experience, $63,000 - $82,000
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and provide high-quality behavior analysis services to students with autism and other developmental disabilities. The BCBA will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and overseeing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and providing direct supervision to Behavior Technicians (RBTs). This role requires collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective behavioral interventions are implemented and progress is achieved. The BCBA will play a key role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the causes and functions of challenging behaviors.
Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to the needs of each student.
Provide ongoing supervision and guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff who implement behavior plans.
Collect, analyze, and monitor data to assess the effectiveness of behavior interventions and make data-driven decisions.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure consistency and fidelity in implementing behavior intervention strategies.
Provide training and professional development to staff members, including teachers, parents, and behavior technicians, on evidence-based behavioral strategies and techniques.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding behavior goals, objectives, and progress.
Ensure that behavior interventions are ethical, respectful, and in compliance with legal and professional standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Stay current with research and best practices in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Qualifications:
Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
Must have a licensed applied behavior analyst (LABA), as issued by Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure, Board of Allied Mental Health.
At least two years of experience providing behavior analysis services in a school or clinical setting.
In-depth knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, assessment techniques, and intervention strategies.
Strong data analysis skills and the ability to interpret and apply data to inform intervention planning.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Additional Requirements:
Background check and fingerprinting as required by Massachusetts state regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to lift, move, or assist students when necessary.
Completion of any required professional development or certifications as mandated by the district.

Compensation and Benefits:
Full-Time Exempt Salary Position with compensation based on relevant experience. This role is not on a salary scale. AKFCS also provides a comprehensive benefits package which includes the following:
