About the Department
The position is term-limited (estimated two to three years), offers meaningful community impact, and requires a professional who can balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
Position Duties
- Develop and execute a detailed, multi-year capital campaign plan, including timelines, benchmarks, and goals.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of prospective individual donors, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Establish campaign committees and provide staff support to campaign volunteers, board members, and other ambassadors.
- Coordinate with the grants team to ensure capital campaign efforts compliment government and foundation grant strategies.
- Track and report campaign progress, donor activity, and fundraising metrics to the Executive Director and board.
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to develop and implement complex project plans in an effective and timely manner.
- Ability to prepare and deliver clear, concise, high-level oral and written communication of complex matters in the form of recommendations, proposals, policies, procedures, reports, and other technical writing.
- Ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership, CBH Board members and various internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of behavioral health issues and the broader health and human services landscape.
- Bachelor’s Degree and specialized relevant project-related training required.
- Five years of experience in fundraising with a focus on capital campaign planning and execution required.
- Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving required.
- Experience working with or for a government, quasi-governmental, or health related nonprofit agency preferred.
