Lighting Director – SBHS Musical Productions
We are seeking a Lighting Director to join our production team for the upcoming high school play and musical. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collegiate-style, high-performing environment alongside dedicated students, staff, and creative professionals.

Description: 

• Designing and executing a lighting plan that enhances the artistic vision of the musical.
• Programming lighting equipment during rehearsals and running a cue to cue if necessary.
• Collaborating closely with the director, technical director, and student crew to support the overall production design.
• Training and mentoring students interested in lighting operations.
• Ensuring safe and effective use of all lighting equipment.
• Renting lighting equipment that will be needed to properly light our stage. 

Experience: 

• Prior experience in theatrical lighting design and operation (experience with high school or collegiate productions preferred).
• Strong understanding of stage lighting techniques, equipment, and control systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, educational performance environment.
• Commitment to professionalism, creativity, and fostering a positive student experience.
