Contingent Nutrition Services Aide- 1st with weekend and holiday rotation bei Henry County Hospital

Responsibilities: A Nutrition Services Aide assists the cooks and other nutrition services department personnel in areas such as washing dishes, answering the room service phone line, delivering patient trays, food preparation, food storage, cleaning, stocking, and operating the cash register. The Nutrition Services Aide must always follow safe food handling practices. In addition, the employee must understand prescribed therapeutic and modified diets. 

Qualifications: The Nutrition Services Aide must be at least 16 years of age. It is required that the Nutrition Services Aide has the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. The ability to write simple correspondences and speak in sentences is also required. It is preferred that the Nutrition Services Aide has a ServSafe Certification, a High School diploma or equivalent training or up to one-year relate experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. It is also preferred that the Nutrition Services Aide has prior experience in food service and commercial food preparation and following prescribed diets.
