In this role you will be carrying out plant operating tasks ensuring safe, reliable operation at all times while adhering to all px company procedures and policies.

The Opportunity
Due to our continuing success story, we’re now recruiting for an Operations Technician.
In this role you will be carrying out plant operating tasks ensuring safe, reliable operation at all times while adhering to all px company procedures and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Completion of daily operator plant/equipment checks.
- Completion of Operational scheduled routines.
- Assurance of plant & equipment performance criteria, isolation integrity, process stability, & process optimisation.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Level 3 qualification in engineering, maintenance or process disciplines, or equivalent.
- Working in and contributing to a 24/7 continuous process, production or operations environment.
- Responsibilities to include: Taking readings, sampling, monitoring of plant areas & emissions, fault finding, problem solving, continuous improvement, following procedures & processes and house-keeping.
- Plant/process shut down & start up in normal /abnormal operations.
- Working a 24/7 shift pattern.
- Reading & using technical / P&ID drawings
