Description

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, clean, well-kept, healthy and adequately supplied environment for clients and staff; under the direction and supervision of the Facilities Director.

 

Qualifications


POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma. Professional experience and training to include evidence of training in repair contracting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, facility cleaning and related areas of facility appropriate technical areas of operation preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 1 year experience required is composed of evidence of experience in the above noted areas of practice.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

CPR preferred

KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE:

Knowledge of the Principles, Rules and Regulations related to the practice of facility’s management.

AGE SPECIFIC INDIVIDUALS SERVED/ RESPONSIBILITY:

Adults or Adolescents

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION

  1. Actively involved with conserving physical assets of the facility, both administratively and residentially.
  2. Review and promptly respond to reports and recommendations from planning, regulating, and inspecting agencies as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
  3. Provide for facility compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  4. Monitor day-to-day repairs and maintenance of the facility.
  5. Upkeep of all existing offices and client and staff areas.
  6. Monitor and report all contractor and vendor progress as assigned by the Facilities Manager.   Protect the privacy of all client information in accordance with GRNH, LLC’s privacy policies, procedures, and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with general principle of professionalism as a healthcare provider. Failure to comply with the company’s policies and procedures on client privacy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
  7. May access protected health information (PHI) and other patent information only to the extent that it is necessary to complete your job duties. The incumbent may only share such information with those who have specific client information you have in your possession to complete their job responsibilities related to treatment, payment or other GRNH, LLC operations.
  8. Expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding GRNH, LLC’s policies and procedures on client privacy and any observed practices in violation of the policy to their supervisor.
  9. Perform other duties assigned.
