The Rehabilitation Coach, under the direction of the Coordinator of Community Day Services, the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, and in coordination with the Production Manager ensures that all results of vocational training opportunities are completed accurately and within timeline expectations; provides vocational instruction and training and training in Life Skills to person with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities. Works collaboratively with the individual and the Rehabilitation Team to identify the person's abilities, needs, preferences, desired outcomes, and other identified needs for developing and implementing individualized person-centered plans; provide support to ensure high quality life skills developmental training and rehabilitation opportunities for persons participating in the Community Day Services program.

Assist the Production Team with the completion of documentation related to consumer trainee attendance, productivity, inventory and ordering supplies, completing time studies and other forms of performance measurement and implements standards set forth by the U.S.

Department of Labor (DOL) and other accrediting bodies. May also provide on-site job training and support in community employment and/or work trial settings in conjunction with the Director/Coordinator and CES Team.

Teach and supervise work skills of consumers enrolled in Community Day Services to include implementing individualized person-centered plan, monitoring/evaluating the trainee's progress and performance, providing feedback to trainee, assessing work quality, and identifying/implementing individualized methods to facilitate progress related to productivity and earning capacity.

Support individuals with developmental, intellectual, psychiatric and other disabilities as they make choices about their lives and play valued roles in their communities. Coaches encourage the people they serve to explore what they want out of life, develop and enhance their life skills, and to chart their own journeys. The goal is to assist the person to lead a full and active life.

Implement strategies to support the achievement of personal outcomes as identified in the implementation strategy. Help to develop cognitive, emotional, and life functioning abilities of each consumer for the purpose of rehabilitation and to positively impact their life.

In coordination with production Manager, complete necessary time studies and performance measurement studies ensuring consistent implementation of time study procedures in a day-to-day training intervention with consumers. Assist with completion of work to meet contract expectations as needed including material handling, settings up workstations, making reasonable accommodations and operating equipment necessary for contract completion.

Provide rehabilitation services focused on the needs/desires of enrolled consumer trainees as needed during periods when remunerative work is unavailable. Also assist with the transportation needs of person enrolled in organizational or community
Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma/GED and must be at least 21 years of age. Experience in working with persons with disabilities is preferred. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and meets organization's insurability requirements. Employment with Bridgeway is conditional upon completion of all background checks.
