RATE OF PAY: $ 22.87/hr

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

HRS./DAY & NO OF DAYS: (8 hrs/day, 260 days/year)

LOCATION: District Wide

FUNCTION: Perform general maintenance procedures of district buildings and grounds, including plumbing, grounds, heating and air conditioning, carpentry etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Assist and maintain all buildings in a safe and operational condition;

Working knowledge of small equipment as well as backhoe, trucks, snow plow, etc;

Be able to work alone;

Perform welding duties and repairs;

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two years of maintenance experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Class B CDL driver’s license with a good driving record. Must be able to obtain CPR, 1st aid, and forklift certifications. Also applicator’s certification.
