Self-Direction DSP - Baldwinsville Area (Job #SSM-LG)

ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Community Habilitation Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work in the Baldwinsville area with a young woman with an intellectual disability. She and her family are looking for a dedicated DSP to provide support and assist her with working on her goals, both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: accompanying and supporting her during community outings, assisting her to gain independent living skills at home and in the community and transportation, as needed. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, patient, and enthusiastic. Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities a plus. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:00pm-4:00pm

Pay Rate: $24.00/hr
