Administrative Assistant Job Description
The Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Administrator and Raleigh Office Staff. This position reports to the Executive Administrator and does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced culture on a variety of projects and can solve complex problems and meet deadlines in a high pressure environment.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft correspondence
- Plan and schedule appointments
- Attend and document minute meetings
- Answer inbound telephone calls
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Collect, document, and audit deliverables from the field
- Maintain trackers, data entry, and document projects from start to finish
- Other duties, responsibilities and activities as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, contractors, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner
- Demonstrated sound judgment and decision making
- Maintains a positive attitude in a high stress environment
- Solid track record of establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships
- Strong relationship building and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of Google applications (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Gmail)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member to achieve goals and objectives of the department and company.
- Able to adapt to Hyper Networks’ and the client’s proprietary technology quickly and easily
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment
- Ability to be productive with minimal supervision
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Valid NC driver's license with satisfactory driving record
- 1-3+ years office assistant experience in a process-driven environment
- Experience in telecommunications construction processes preferred
- Experience in office administration or other related fields is required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

- Office environment with long periods of sitting
