Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for cultivating an enjoyable gaming environment for guests while adhering to gaming policies. Ensures adherence to departmental standard operating procedures and oversees all gaming activities to safeguard game profitability. Responsible for service recovery, administering operational processes and leading floor personnel.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for overseeing and training personnel from Slots, Table Games, and Bingo department, ensuring compliance with gaming standard operating procedures, Federal currency regulations, financial reporting requirements, and the National Indian Gaming Commission’s Minimum Internal Control Standards.

Be active and visible in support of all guests and Team Members. Offering positive feedback and reinforcement regularly. Greeting all guests immediately with a polite, friendly, and sincere welcome, offering to collect guests’ Rewards Club cards or complimentary enrollment into Rewards Club, using guests’ names when able. Ensure living the brand/purpose in all work activities: “To create stories worth retelling for Player, Teams Members and our Tribal Stakeholders.”

 

Knowledgeable of all casino duties, systems, and functions (i.e., IGT Patron Management, Agilysys, and Hotel Operations), Rewards Club benefits, property amenities & marketing promotions advocates and sells this information to guests.

 

Will ensure that all team members will adhere to and deliver SUPERIOR GUEST SERVICE, striving to exceed our internal and external guest expectations.

 

Administer SERVICE RECOVERY PROCESSES as necessary to win back guest that experience service or product challenges during their visit to Colusa Casino Resort. 

 

Provide witnessing/authorizing signature for slot jackpot payments as described by

department policies.

 

Work without supervision.

 

Must present a clean and well-groomed appearance and project a professional and

helpful attitude at all times.

 

Communicate clear expectations for team members regarding behavior, tasks, and

performance in line with our brand and our commitments. If necessary, report service commitments not being followed by team members to the department team leaders so they can follow up with their team.

 

Integrate the Colusa Casino Resort brand purpose into all processes, communications,

and guest/team member experiences, including three pre-shift meetings per day. We will

do one for each shift to make sure to get the word out about any changes, upcoming

property-wide events, and promotions.

 

Prepare required documentation and reports and ensure compliance with Title 31 requirements and internal reporting requirements. Keeping all logs updated regularly

Ensures gaming operations team members are at designated shift in full uniform, professionally presentable, and ready to perform at designated workstation and/or relieve team members on time.

 

Assist in controlling costs by developing efficient work schedules. Facilitate breaks schedules and Provides documentation to Shift Managers regarding disciplinary actions and/or attendance

Prepare the accurate rating of guests’ gaming activity.

Remains calm and attentive, always demonstrating professional behavior towards guests and co-workers.

Continually develop, coach, and evaluate all gaming operations team members.

Assists with overall maintenance of the organization’s physical assets and equipment.

 

Assist in budget planning and reporting daily activities to management.

 

Enforce policies and procedures and make decisions related to all games. Follow guidelines set by audits, Gaming Board and CCR.

 

Other duties as assigned.
