Replacement Dates: 11/1/2025 through 5/6/2026
Part Time – 2 to 3 days per week
Primary Functions:
1. Serve as the Board Secretary and attend all meetings of the Board, prepare and distribute minutes, notices and agenda of meetings
2. Administer Oath of Office to all new Board members
3. Prepare agendas for and facilitate Finance and Infrastructure Board Committee Meetings
4. Prepare agenda for and facilitate Facilities and Sustainable District Committee Meetings
5. Oversee Business Office Functions and supervise and provide support to staff including: Comptroller/Assistant to the BA, Payroll and Benefits Coordinator, Confidential Secretary to the BA, Accounts Payable Secretary, Purchasing Secretary, Payroll Secretaries, PT Business Office Secretary
6. Oversee certain operations and supervise and provide support to administrators including: Director of Facilities and Operations, Director of Food Services, Director of Transportation and Assistant Directors of the same.
7. Oversee the self-insured benefit programs and provide support to the Self Insured Benefits Coordinator
8. Responsible for financials including: Monthly Bank Reconciliation and close out, expenditure account transfers, voiding checks, deleting invoices, approving purchase orders, approving contracts, and providing all monthly financial reports for Board Approval
9. Responsible for personnel items including: Pension Approvals, Attendance Approvals, Professional Development Approvals for operations staff
10. Responsible for internal controls including the addition of new users in the Financial Software and adjusting user access in the same on an as needed basis
11. Work with other administrators and Board Appointed professionals on an as needed basis
12. Liaison with the brokers for all insurance matters
13. Serve as Custodian of Records consistent with the requirements of the Open Public Records Act
COMPENSATION
Starting rate of $100/hr commensurate with experience.
