    Rossville Middle/Senior High School seeks an exceptional Mathematics teacher to begin immediately to teach Geometry and Algebra II. The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction that ensures all students, from those with IEPs to those enrolled in advanced coursework, receive rigorous, appropriate, and well-supported learning opportunities.
     
    The ideal candidate will:
    · Demonstrate strong classroom leadership and effective classroom management, with the ability to engage and motivate students in a variety of settings.
    · Exhibit proven skill in differentiating instruction to meet the full spectrum of student needs, including learners requiring special education services and students pursuing higher-level academic rigor.
    · Design and implement a creative, standards-aligned curriculum that integrates real-world applications, higher-order thinking, and opportunities for both intervention and academic extension.
    · Use assessment data to guide instruction, providing targeted supports and enrichment to ensure every student makes measurable progress.
    · Collaborate with colleagues to build a cohesive and aligned mathematics program across grade levels and ability levels, sharing strategies and resources that support student achievement.
    · Partner effectively with parents and the community through consistent communication, transparency of expectations, and engagement in students’ academic growth and success.
    The position will remain open until a qualified candidate is secured.
