We are currently growing and have an opportunity for an Accounting Manager to assist our CFO and lead our accounting team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all accounting staff in construction and maintenance operations.
  • Establish and maintain a relationship with non-material vendors.
  • Perform and serve as backup for bi-weekly payroll.
  • Manage fleet inspection process and all NCDMV activity.
  • Coordinate new hire hardware setup with The20 (IT Systems).
  • Serve as additional liaison for banking relationship with FNB.
  • Daily reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Coordinate and manage all apparel orders w/Cintas; desginate and approve orders.
  • Manage Meck County Permit payments.
  • Generate weekly gas reports and corresponding journal entries.
  • Facilitate weekly cash flow meetings.
  • Process daily construction billing as needed.
  • Process daily vendor invoice entries.
  • Process weekly A/P and Subcontractor payments.
  • Serve as backup for generating monthly sales commission report.
  • Perform daily update of Job Margin Sheet
  • Perform weekly update of Operations production from prior week.
  • Order office and breakroom supplies as needed.
  • Other ad-hoc responsibilities as needed.
  • Follow company core values.

 

Qualifications:

  • Self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience; A/P, A/R and month-end closing experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills- oral, written, and via email.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Well-versed with spreadsheets, especially Excel.
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop (Enterprise)
  • Ability to effectively make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
  • Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding requirements and expectations.
