Vermeer All Roads in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Field Technician / Mechanic to join our growing service team. In this role, you’ll travel to customer sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain Vermeer and related heavy equipment—keeping machines running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Compensation
• $28–$38 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities
• Travel daily to customer locations to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on Vermeer and related heavy equipment
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems using OEM schematics and diagnostic tools
• Document all work performed, parts used, and recommendations in clear work orders
• Communicate repair timelines, estimates, and updates with customers and Service management
• Ensure all repairs meet company quality and safety standards
• Maintain company-provided service truck, tools, and equipment

• 3+ years of experience as a heavy equipment or diesel technician (Vermeer/construction/ag experience a plus)
• Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulics and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret OEM service manuals and schematics
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain
• Self-starter with strong communication and time management skills
• Must own basic tools
