Job Overview
Gateway Supply is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to lead our company in financial operations and strategy. The CFO will play a critical role in the overall management of the organization, ensuring financial stability and growth. This executive position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of financial management practices within our industry.
Duties
- Oversee all financial activities of the organization including but not limited to financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, accounting, cash flow management, reporting, revenue cycle and cost management.
- Play an active role in organization’s strategic planning, program development and evaluation through financial analysis, forecasting, and advising.
- Conduct financial analysis and planning to identify risks and areas of improvement and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee Finance Department functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Finance, Credit & Collections and Facilities.
- Drive business development efforts by analyzing market trends and identifying growth opportunities.
- Implement effective expense management practices to optimize resource allocation.
- Develop risk management policies to safeguard the organization’s assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures, legal and regulatory requirements (i.e., local, state, and federal government requirements including SOX requirements).
- Develop and uphold effective internal controls to safeguard assets and reliability of financial statements.
- Oversee business unit tax filings, audits, and reports ensuring timely submission.
- Participates in Executive Leadership Team meetings and activities and works with department leaders to achieve financial goals.
