SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Space Planning Specialist are to lead reset implementation and draw sets utilizing space planning software, maintain the space tracking and financial tracking forms, analyze sales reports to create space planning/reset proposals and ensure that all assigned accounts are set in accordance with the schematic.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent the company in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
- Update and maintain space planning tracking reports weekly to ensure accurate set count.
- Lead reset implementation at store level to ensure all accounts are set in accordance with schematic.
- Maintain monthly space tracking forms by analyzing space gains using space planning software.
- Ensure all products are restocked at the conclusion of the reset and all new items are placed and tagged.
- Maintain the space planning database by accurately reflecting all changes made to account sets in space planning software.
- Assist in setting up new accounts by drawing the initial sets in space planning software.
- Assist with cleaning, rotating, restocking, hanging shelf tags and merchandising products in assigned accounts as needed.
- Ensure all stores are left neat and orderly after a reset and communicate to the store manager and/or owner.
- Recap each set with sales consultant and territory manager to ensure set accuracy and that customer needs are met.
- Maintain reverse images for all stores as needed.
- Create proposals for accounts based on internal sales reports.
- Maintain safe driving record and comply with company driving policy.
- Always adhere to dress code and be properly attired and groomed.
- Attend all scheduled meetings and company functions as required.
- Obey all Federal, State, and local laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
Basic training in an office or operations. Knowledge of basic office software and office technology, or warehouse/delivery technology. First-line production supervisors over semi-skilled operations, and the like. Equivalent to 1-3 practical trades or training

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Requires the ability to read, write, complete simple forms and understand simple written instructions. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Requires the ability to perform arithmetic skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division including decimals and fractions. Could require simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules or diagrams.
