Shipping & Receiving Clerk bei National Dentex

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Shipping & Receiving Clerk opportunity at NDX Albensi in Irwin, PA. 

 The regular hours for this position are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Unpacking and sanitizing new work as needed following instruction which includes wearing protective gear.
• Utilize pallet jack to move crates.
• Receive pallets/machines; lifting of boxes up to 50 pounds.
• Sorts and attaches doctor prescriptions.
• Responsible for properly packing all completed cases.
• Responsible for verifying and properly consolidating all cases to prepare for shipping.
• Responsible for utilizing UPS and FedEx software and properly maintaining database integrity and account naming procedures.
• Disburse cases for local drivers.
• Maintain proper level of assembled shipping boxes.
• All other jobs as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Computer skills (preferred)
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Strong attention to detail
• Multi task

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

• Disinfectant process chemicals
• Personal protective equipment as required.
• Office equipment
• Insert hazardous materials and/or equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
• Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Good manual dexterity
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Repeated bending and kneeling
• Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color
• Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 50 pounds
