Tutor bei Essex Westford School District

Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity for a part-time temporary tutor for a student at our Thomas Fleming School (grades 3-5). Tutoring services are needed for 90 minutes per day until an evaluation can be completed and permanent plans are in place. 

Positon pays $30.00/hour for folks without a valid educator license, and $43.00/hour for those with a valid educator license.  Position is expected to continue into December.

Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or other appropriate disciplines, with directly related training/experience in tutoring or instructing students.
• Ability to effectively manage students one-on-one.
• Strong background in the content of math, language arts, science, and social studies 
• Ability to problem solve and develop skill-building activities for the grade level being served.
• Great oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge and skills with various computer applications.
