The Role
Wood is seeking an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager to lead all aspects of supply chain operations across procurement, subcontracts, expediting, logistics, and materials management. This position will be responsible for building and managing an integrated supply chain function that delivers efficiency, quality, and best-in-class service to all areas of the business — ensuring materials, equipment, and services are procured and delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in EPC, industrial, or manufacturing project environments, combining strategic leadership with hands-on operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, contracts, subcontracts, expediting, vendor performance, and logistics.
- Develop and implement project-specific supply chain strategies, plans, and procedures aligned with company objectives.
- Ensure all supply chain activities comply with internal policies, project execution plans, and contracting strategies.
- Establish and manage the Procurement Status Report (PSR) and other key project dashboards, ensuring visibility of progress and critical path items.
- Coordinate closely with Project Management, Engineering, QA/QC, and Finance to align all supply chain deliverables with project schedules.
- Work in close partnership with the Subcontractor Manager to oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring commercial, technical, and schedule compliance across all active projects.
- Monitor subcontractor progress and quality deliverables, identify risks or deviations, and drive corrective actions.
- Participate in performance reviews, variation negotiations, and closeout activities to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Manage supplier prequalification, selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews, ensuring timely corrective actions when required.
- Lead expediting and quality assurance activities to ensure materials and equipment meet all technical and schedule requirements.
- Oversee logistics and materials management operations, including warehousing, preservation, and documentation control.
- Mentor and develop supply chain personnel, setting clear goals, monitoring performance, and ensuring professional growth and succession planning.
- Drive cost savings, efficiency improvements, and process standardization across the supply chain function.
- Promote compliance with ethical standards, safety leadership, and the company’s Supply Chain Code of Conduct.

Expected:
- Lead and Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- CIPS certification or industry equivalent preferred.
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in supply chain management roles, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in procurement, contracts, expediting, logistics, and materials management.
- Strong understanding of commercial terms, subcontracting principles, and ERP systems (Oracle or equivalent).
- Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing supply chain teams.
- Familiarity with EPC or capital project environments, and the ability to integrate supply chain processes with project delivery.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Results-driven, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
