What You’ll Do
• Design, deploy, and maintain network switches, routers, wireless systems, and firewalls
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and system reliability
• Manage enterprise servers (physical & virtual), SAN storage, and backup solutions
• Conduct cybersecurity assessments, risk mitigation, and firewall configuration
• Maintain disaster recovery readiness and infrastructure documentation
• Support secure remote access and quality network performance across facilities
• Manage vendor relationships and technology procurement
• Provide escalation support and mentorship to junior technical staff
• Participate in on-call rotation for urgent network needs
• Continuously evaluate and implement emerging technologies
• Other related duties as assigned
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
— Equivalent experience (additional 4+ years) may substitute for degree
• CCNA certification required; additional technical certifications strongly preferred
• 3+ years of experience in complex network engineering environments
• Proven experience with enterprise firewalls, wireless infrastructure, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), SANs, and backup systems
• Strong knowledge of data protection, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity practices
• Ability to work outside normal hours when necessary
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Must pass all required background checks

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Network Engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering high-performing technology solutions. In this pivotal role, you will design, implement, manage, and optimize the network and server infrastructure supporting the Poarch Band of Creek Indians.
