About the Role

Love the mountains? Passionate about skiing or snowboarding? Want to spend your weekends surrounded by stoke and snow? Sports Basement is looking for a Ski Bus Operations Lead to help run our legendary ski bus program this winter.

As our Ops Lead, you’ll make sure every trip runs smoothly—from early morning check-ins to après ski celebrations. You’ll lead on-the-ground logistics, support your fellow hosts, and be the friendly, composed, and capable face our customers and crew count on all day long.

What You’ll Do

• Prep supplies (coolers, snacks, rosters, etc.) the day before each trip
   
• Arrive early to lead check-in, direct guests, and support hosts
   
• Welcome customers with positive energy and clear communication
   
• Ride the bus and handle on-trip logistics, safety, and customer needs
   
• Be the main point of contact for customers, hosts, and drivers when the Senior Program Manager isn’t on site
   
• Troubleshoot issues on the fly and keep things running smoothly
   
• Coordinate with resort partners and store teams throughout the day
   
• Help with après ski activities and ensure everyone’s having an awesome time
   
• Communicate trip notes, issues, and wins back to the Senior Program Manager
   
• Assist with scheduling and supporting Ski Bus Hosts
   
• Keep trips safe, on time, and high-quality from start to finish

What We’re Looking For

• Part-time weekend availability (Fridays–Sundays, including holidays)
   
• A love for skiing, snowboarding, and the outdoors
   
• Strong leadership, organization, and people skills
   
• Clear, friendly, and confident communication style
   
• Calm under pressure and quick to solve problems
   
• Prior customer service or group leadership experience preferred
   
• Reliable car and willingness to travel to South Bay store locations for pickups
   
• Comfortable lifting gear, working long days, and being outdoors in any weather
   
• Basic Excel skills; Xola experience is a plus
