Hiring for a Part-Time Rad Tech Assistant

Shifts:

• Sat/Sun 7a-5:30p 
• Tu-F 5p-10p

Job Description: Performs a variety of imaging modalities under the clinical direction of a Radiologist and Radiologic Technologists.  Patient exams are only performed when the student has exhibited competency through the accredited school’s program.  Exams are reviewed and initialed by the registered technologist in Radiography prior to ending a patient’s study.

Qualifications:

• Incumbent must be a student in an accredited Radiology Program and must have successfully completed one year of training. 
• Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to the age groups of the patients for whom s/he will be assigned.

Experience: No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of job within 1 month.
