Title: Custodian/Housekeeper
Reports to: Business Manager and/or Maintenance Director
Location: Sacred Heart Catholic Church | Punta Gorda, FL
Classification: Hourly/Nonexempt
Overview:
Sacred Heart Catholic Church is seeking a full-time Custodian/housekeeper for 3 large buildings (Church, Center and Main Office/Hall).
Job responsibilities:
- Special daily attention to restroom/bathroom cleaning including floors and all fixtures. Ensure that all hygiene supplies are adequate.
- Cleaning of all floors when necessary, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming/spot cleaning of carpeting.
- Periodic machine cleaning of floors including stripping, scrubbing, and shampooing.
- Cleaning/dusting of all furniture, window blinds, windowsills, doors, and pictures
- Cleaning of all furniture including church pews and kneelers.
- Emptying and cleaning of all trash containers.
- Cleaning of kitchens after use including floor and all kitchen equipment.
- Helps to maintain inventory of janitorial equipment and supplies under the direction of Maintenance Supervisor
- Other duties as assigned.
