Description
We are hiring experienced, safe drivers to join our team at Kett Engineering. This role is vital to our operations, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of vehicles for testing purposes. Your contributions will directly support our mission of delivering high-quality automotive testing services.
Kett Engineering is looking for project Test Drivers to work with us at our customer's location in Detroit, MI. Successful candidates will drive and evaluate pre-production and prototype test vehicles for an upcoming test project.
We are looking for good, dependable, and safe drivers to evaluate vehicles and their advanced driver assist systems. Drivers must be able to work 3-4 consecutive days a week. Strong technical and computer knowledge preferred.
This is a temporary 7 week project beginning November 3rd, 2025.
Schedule:
Monday - Sunday availability (scheduled 3-4 consecutive shifts per week)
Day and Night Shift - hours will vary
Qualifications Requirements:
- Minimum five years of driving with a valid driver's license.
- Must possess valid Drivers License.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- All candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment criminal background and drug screening.
Additional desired qualifications:
- Strong technical and computer aptitude highly preferred.
- Familiar with current trends in automotive industry including driver assist systems, electric vehicles, auto-pilot feature.
- Ability to learn and operate new vehicle features (Ex: GPS, Navigation, Infotainment systems, etc.).
- Attention to detail with the ability to communicate finding both verbally and in writing.
- Able to contribute to a team environment.
- All candidates will be expected to always be professional towards co-workers and clients.
