The Johnson County AMP program is an early-college partnership between secondary schools and employer partners in Johnson County. Students' complete coursework throughout high school at their school, as well as Ivy Tech Community College toward an associate's degree in Industrial Technology with a focus on Automation & Robotics. Students also have the opportunity to earn hands-on experience and on-the-job training at employer partner sites.

- Tasks and activities as outlined by host employer site and supervisor
Qualifications:
- High school students enrolled in Johnson County Advanced Manufacturing Program
- Meet the requirements to be accepted to Ivy Tech Community College
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Capable of transportation between school and employer site
- Excellent behavior, attendance, and work ethic
Compensation/Schedule:
- $14.00 Hourly wage, Part-time
- 10-20 hours/week
General Timing for Annual Selection Process:
- February/March - Application/Resumes submitted through Ivy Tech Portal
- April - AMP Student Interviews
- May - Cohort/Rotation Assignment
- Summer - First employer hiring requirements - online application, drug screens, etc.
- August - Work-based learning experiences begins
