We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our financial consolidation team. This role will report to the AVP – Reporting and will support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and ensures accuracy and compliance across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with team members and business units to contribute to a smooth and efficient consolidation process.
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, ensuring accurate forecasting, strategic planning, and data-driven recommendations to achieve and optimize organizational financial objectives.
What you’ll do
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation of multiple entities.
- Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and foreign currency translations.
- Work with accounting teams across business units to gather and validate financial data.
- Help maintain and operate consolidation systems (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle FCCS).
- Provide documentation and support for external audits and internal reviews.
- Contribute to the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
- Analyze consolidated data and assist in preparing reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls related to the consolidation process.
Qualifications:
CPA certification required.
Preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate financial reporting.
Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems (e.g., Workiva, Hyperion, Oracle).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet tight deadlines.
Supervisory: No
Experience with public company reporting.
Familiarity with XBRL tagging and SEC EDGAR filing processes.
Exposure to SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
Knowledge of technical accounting topics such as revenue recognition, leases, and business combinations.

Our Lead Financial Analysis earns between $118,800 - $178,200. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
