The Radiology Aide transports patients to and from radiology; under the direction and guidance of the imaging technologist, the Radiology Aide will provide patient care within their scope of practice.

Responsibilities of this position include:

•  Assists the patient in activities including ambulating and transferring, patient safety and comfort measures.
• Collaborates with members of the care team to provide quality patient care.
• Maintains safe and clean environment for patient and department.
• Assists the imaging technologist in exam preparation, under the direction and supervision of the imaging technologist.
• Assembles supplies, equipment, and monitors inventory.
• Assists with patient requests and reports concerns to imaging technologist.

Requirements of this position include:

• High School Diploma of GED. Will also consider Junior or Senior High School student. Successful completion of skills inventory within orientation period.
