We’re seeking a General Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of our equipment and facilities in our manufacturing facility in New Braunfels, TX.

About the Role

As a General Maintenance Technician, you’ll perform hands-on maintenance and repairs to keep our industrial equipment and facilities running smoothly. With expertise in general maintenance, electrical systems, and welding, you’ll ensure minimal downtime in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery, focusing on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform welding tasks (e.g., MIG, TIG, or Stick) to repair or fabricate metal components and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and control panels.
• Maintain facility systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, and lighting, as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and welding safety standards.
• Document maintenance activities and suggest improvements to equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 2+ years in general maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing setting, with hands-on welding and electrical experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick); knowledge of electrical systems (wiring, motors, control panels); ability to use tools like multimeters, welders, and power tools.
• Safety: Familiarity with OSHA standards, electrical codes, and welding safety practices.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, climb, and stand for extended periods in demanding environments.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication.
