Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pulling and cutting wire from large spools to fill customer orders.
  • Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
  • Perform warehouse responsibilities as inventory management and packaging and labeling
  • Inspecting incoming and outgoing material for accuracy and damage and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
  • Receiving, storing, and distributing incoming materials and products. This may involve using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Properly completes production paperwork and utilizes a barcoding system.
  • Reviews and follows shipping order instructions and specifications.
  • Ability to operate an air compressed bander.
  • Ability to read packaging instructions on work orders.
  • Expected to be able to handle tasks/cross-train to help the company meet its goals.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Education and/or experience – High School degree or equivalent preferred. Prior experience or training in a related field or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Math – Must be able to use and understand simple mathematics, using addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals. Knowledge of the Standard/Imperial measuring system is required, and knowledge of the metric system is a plus.
  • Understanding and use of basic measuring instruments required; micrometers are preferred.
