Bachelor's degree and one year of loss prevention or management experience which includes conducting investigations/audits, and report writing are preferred. Completion of the Loss Prevention Uniformed Training Plan (UTP) Level III I is required.
The Loss Prevention Uniformed Training Plan (UTP) Level III completion can be verified by any one of these training courses: 2007 - Exchange Detective Certification, 2212 - Uniform Training Plan for SS specialists, 2220 - Uniform Training Plan - Exchange Detectives, 2261 - Exchange Detective Training, 2282 - Certification of Exchange Detective, 3157 - UTP Exchange Detective, 3158 - UTP Safety, and Security 3162 - UTP DR Safety and Security Spec/Tech 010U - UTP Loss Prevention Manager, 317S - Level 1 Certification 318S - Level 2 Certification, 319S - Level 3 Certification, 321S - Level 4 Certification, 322A - Level 5 Certification, and 323S - Level 6 Certification.

Major Duties
Conducts and/or supervises Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), environmental, and loss prevention (LP) inspections/surveys. Recommends and/or implements loss prevention (LP) program modifications and procedures to increase operational efficiencies and effectiveness. May be required to manage or assist in managing the Exchange information and personnel security program.
Conducts interviews, obtains written statements, and prepares relevant case reports/files. Coordinates with local police/courts on theft prosecutions. Liaisons with command, law enforcement, legal, and Exchange management on loss prevention (LP) activities.
Provides training to associates including, but not limited to, new hires, profit protection, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), internal controls, etc.
Oversees equipment management including, but not limited to, closed circuit television (CCTV) systems, electronic article surveillance (EAS), safety products, fire suppression systems, vehicles, etc. May oversee contract guard services and coordinate coverage at distribution center locations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
