Coop Student bei Synthomer

​Co-op will work with R&D engineers, lab technicians, and operators in various aspects of the latex polymer scale-up process. Specific duties include learning quality-testing procedures, working with P&IDs, understanding batch polymerization, and assisting in creating procedures and recipes for various polymer batches.

• Attend daily operations meeting

• Observe process hazard analysis for various parts of the plant

• Modify/create polymer batch recipes

• Utilize excel to perform/optimize various tasks

• Modify/create process and instrumentation diagrams

• Validate JHA and SOP procedures for all work.

• Work with operators/technicians to create a safe work environment

• Learn and utilize different analytical techniques for determining quality of materials created

• Work on various plant improvement projects

• Attend all safety meetings and participate in safety inspections
