JOB SUMMARY
Coat Check Attendants must be able to create a pleasant atmosphere by being attentive, courteous, and prompt with guests. The Coat Check’s overall responsibility is to always maintain and secure the Coat Check area and to provide speedy and accurate service to our guests when handling their personal belongings.
Must have the availability to work a minimum of (2) two shifts on Friday- Sunday evenings through March/April 2026
Coat Check Attendant Functions:
- Attends and Participates in all training sessions and team meetings.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner.
- Prepares for an upcoming event to include gathering supplies and proper set-up.
- Be aware of all information regarding the event you are working on (Concierge has copies of Banquet Event Order) - Know the names of the clients.
- Greet guests with a warm smile to make them feel welcome.
- Place Coat Check Tabs on hangers in numerical order.
- In cases of inclement weather, be prepared to store umbrellas in waterproof receptacles.
- Offer to keep any gifts, bags, luggage, and hats, etc. in coatroom
- Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct.
- Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management.
- Reports to the Banquet Captain
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
- Available to work weekends, evening shifts and major holidays
- Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Always arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance.
- Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Able to lift to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance.
- Reliable transportation to and from work
