The Opportunity
The Maintenance Mechanic II supports the Tennessee Fulfillment Center through the maintenance of facilities and associated automated sorting equipment. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Team Lead.

The purpose of the Facilities Mechanic II position is to build the mechanical and electrical systems that support the fulfillment center processes. You will perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and planned maintenance repairs of all conveyors, powered industrial trucks, production, and building-related equipment. This requires an intermediate working knowledge of industrial maintenance and equipment repair of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical subsystems. The mechanic has a working knowledge for troubleshooting and fine-tuning of electrical systems and electronics including Programmable Logic Control (PLC), Variable Frequency Drives, and other controls to ensure the system is operating at peak production requirements. You will be responsible for other maintenance mechanics.
Your Impact
Modify operations equipment, facilities and replacement of existing machines per manufactures or equipment specifications
Perform and facilitate general facility repairs such as plumbing, electrical, lighting, painting, HVAC, and wall repair
Repair on dock doors, dock locks, and dock plates to resolve problems and ensure successful operation
Plan repairs, and preventative maintenance to production-related equipment, Powered Industrial Trucks, and building equipment
Correct safety hazards and potential maintenance issues
Document failures and implement solutions
Preventive Maintenance Crew
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
What You Bring
High School graduate or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years' experience in plant maintenance or construction with a variety of trade experience
Previous experience with and working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyor and related systems
Intermediate knowledge of PLC's and sortation controls
Follow blueprints, technical manuals, and engineering specifications
Working knowledge of standard building codes and safety regulations
Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
