Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Trainer to build and deliver training programs that strengthen technical skills across our fast-growing magnet manufacturing start-up. This role will design hands-on learning experiences to ensure employees understand the safe operation, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of our specialized equipment and processes. You’ll play a key role in preparing our workforce to operate efficiently, safely, and with the highest standards of quality in a dynamic start-up environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and deliver technical training programs aligned with manufacturing operations and business objectives.
- Define learning goals and create training plans to support safe and efficient production.
- Create training materials, including outlines, manuals, lab exercises, and assessments, tailored to magnet manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Conduct engaging classroom and hands-on sessions covering safety protocols, equipment setup, production workflows, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Administer written and practical exams to evaluate employee learning and performance.
- Provide constructive feedback and track individual progress through performance reports.
- Continuously update training content to reflect process improvements, new technologies, and evolving best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operations leadership to align training with production needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (engineering, manufacturing, or related field preferred).
- Experience in technical training, curriculum development, or workforce development in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, safety standards, and production workflows.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Work Environment:
The work environment will be a mix of a typical office environment, laboratory space, manufacturing floor and construction site.

Exposure will vary and include normal office noise, typical laboratory sounds (e.g., ventilation systems, equipment operation), manufacturing floor noise (e.g., machinery, forklifts), and construction site noise depending on project phase and location.
