Job Title: Psychology TA for Research Methods with lab  (Psych 230)

Wage Range: $11.75-12.75

Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): 

Work with Prof. Cho to prepare for labs, help run lab sessions, and assist students on semester-long research projects and other APA-style lab reports. TAs will also assist professor in light grading and hold office hours to help students with course material. Lab times are Monday 10:45-12:45PM and Monday 1:00-3:00PM. Student must be able to attend at least one of the labs (please specify which lab). This position is available to two students, one available for each lab time.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

⚫ Help prepare lab session materials ⚫ Assist students during lab sessions (guiding   

⚫ Help grade lab assignments research projects and course material)

⚫ Clean and organize lab

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills) 

⚫ Successful completion of Psych 230  ⚫ Dependable and punctual

⚫ Statistical data analysis skills and proficiency in SPSS ⚫ Interact well with diverse students 

⚫ Strong APA-style writing skills
