Unit Description:Delaware North operates Mardi Gras Casino and Resort dating back to 2018. Located 14 miles west of Charleston, West Virginia, Mardi Gras features more than 25 table games, a poker room, more than 850 slot machines, live greyhound racing, and off-track betting for both greyhound and horse racing; several restaurants and a 150-room hotel.
Responsibilities:- Monitor all areas of the property, including but not limited to gaming and cage activity, food and beverage activity, and security of the facility and the entire property
- Produce written reports and logs on any observed violations and illegal activity promptly
- Ensure that all cameras and computer systems are operational at all times
- Ensure that all state racing and gaming regulations and polices are followed
- Comply with confidentiality regulations regarding all surveillance information, including camera coverage, investigations, and proprietary material
- Minimum of 1 year related experience
- Able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage crowds effectively
- Computer skills, including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, routine database activity, and record keeping
- Basic knowledge and/or training in investigations
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Ability to hear and speak to communicate on a two-way radio
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- The work environment may consist of a dark area, viewing video monitors for the entire shift
- Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
