Clinical Services Manager | OrthTeam - Manchester | Team Management | Band 7 Equivalent dependent on experience | Permanent | Full Time
Spire OrthTeam Centre have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Services Manager to join our busy Radiology and Outpatient departments in the OrthTeam Centre. The successful applicant will provide high quality, evidence-based nursing care, in a clinic setting to facilitate smooth and efficient running of the department while overseeing the Radiology and Outpatient departments.
The OrthTeam Centre (OTC) is an Outpatients and Diagnostic private facility which opened in September 2019. This exciting joint venture between OrthTeam Consultants and Spire Healthcare is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to join a friendly team.
Duties and responsibilities
- To manage the capacity of the centre to maximise the throughput of patients and utilisation of all facilities in line with safe standards of care
- To effectively lead all clinical colleagues within the clinic to build highly engaged teams who provide efficient and consistent ways of working
- To support the management the day-to-day clinical operational performance of the centre to deliver the key performance indicators.
- To deliver a safe and effective clinic operation focused on the delivery of outstanding, personalised care for patients within regulatory governance frameworks which lead to commercial success and support the Orth Team strategy
Who we're looking for
- Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
- Minimum of 2 years managerial experience
- Experience of working within a regulated healthcare environment.
- Proven track record of managing successful multi-disciplined teams and people through change and driving high performance.
- Understanding of the health regulatory environment.
- Culturally aligned to Spire’s Orth Team’s Purpose and Values.
- Tenacious and resilient, a change agent, able to thrive in an environment where change is a constant.
- Excellent organisational ability and leadership skills.
- Strong influencer with the ability to take people on the journey.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Can demonstrate ability to work constructively with senior peers in a team environment.
- Is prepared to be accountable and lead by example.
