The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas
The role you’ll contribute:
Manages a group of security guards who ensure the protection of the organization's facilities, patients, visitors, and staff. Responsible for clinical identification, safety evaluation and coordination of corrective action implementation related to safety issues. Ensures compliance with governmental regulatory agencies and TJC Environment of Care Standards. Complete AutoCAD drawings per code
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Manages the daily operations of the security department. Develops and enforces security procedures and regulations.
· Acts as a liaison to all departments on security measures, procedures, and needs. Monitors and follows up on complaints and investigations.
· Assigns responsibilities and tasks to support department function.
· Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and policies/procedures.
· May be required to oversight PBX/ communications.
· May be required to have oversight of emergency management plans.
· Perform overall safety related responsibilities.
· Maintain the overall facility and create a healing environment.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· High School Grad or Equiv.
· Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP).
