About the Role
Process patient referrals by collecting required documents, patient demographics, and needs prior to office visits.
Communicate directly with referring provider offices and patients to coordinate care.
Schedule and confirm patient diagnostic appointments, surgeries, and medical conditions.
Prepare and maintain accurate medical records and referral documentation.
Ensure follow-up appointments and reports are received and recorded.
Support patient care coordination by entering messages and updates in the practice management system.

Facilitate seamless patient care by efficiently managing referrals and scheduling processes.
Provide concierge-style service to referring providers and patients, improving patient experience and clinic relationships.
Maintain HIPAA privacy and security standards, ensuring patient confidentiality.
Assist physicians and other departments to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient throughput.
Support the mission of CIS by performing duties accurately and proactively to contribute to high-quality patient care.
What Makes You a Great Match
Strong communication and customer service skills for interacting with patients, providers, and internal staff.
Ability to learn and effectively use computerized medical office systems.
Knowledge of patient scheduling techniques and familiarity with insurance/billing preferred.
Excellent time management, organization, and task-oriented approach.
Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
High school diploma or equivalent, with a willingness to grow professionally in a healthcare environment.
