    About the Role
    • Process patient referrals by collecting required documents, patient demographics, and needs prior to office visits.

    • Communicate directly with referring provider offices and patients to coordinate care.

    • Schedule and confirm patient diagnostic appointments, surgeries, and medical conditions.

    • Prepare and maintain accurate medical records and referral documentation.

    • Ensure follow-up appointments and reports are received and recorded.

    • Support patient care coordination by entering messages and updates in the practice management system.

    • Facilitate seamless patient care by efficiently managing referrals and scheduling processes.

    • Provide concierge-style service to referring providers and patients, improving patient experience and clinic relationships.

    • Maintain HIPAA privacy and security standards, ensuring patient confidentiality.

    • Assist physicians and other departments to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient throughput.

    • Support the mission of CIS by performing duties accurately and proactively to contribute to high-quality patient care.

    What Makes You a Great Match
    • Strong communication and customer service skills for interacting with patients, providers, and internal staff.

    • Ability to learn and effectively use computerized medical office systems.

    • Knowledge of patient scheduling techniques and familiarity with insurance/billing preferred.

    • Excellent time management, organization, and task-oriented approach.

    • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

    • High school diploma or equivalent, with a willingness to grow professionally in a healthcare environment.
