Come grow with us! The Woodbridge School at Partners in Child Development in Andover, MA is looking for a kind, patient, and engaging full-time Assistant Preschool Teacher. We invite you to join our growing Woodbridge School Early Childhood teaching team. Being a smaller school, you get to be part of a close-knot, supportive, and dedicated team. At Woodbridge you will find positive energy, a willingness to help one another and a fun environment to work in.
The Woodbridge School program runs on a Monday-Friday basis from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm and operates on a 12-month calendar. The present program opening is in our preschool classroom working 40 hours weekly (M-F) from 8 am – 4 pm.
Role Responsibilities
- engage with children ages 3 to 5 years in play
- help with classroom activities
- maintain a clean and neat classroom environment
What You Bring
- At least 6 months of previous Assistant Preschool Teacher experience required. Toddler and Pre-K experience also considered.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Commitment to caring for the wellbeing of young children.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills.
- Satisfactory background check
- Mostly active - must be able to sit, bend, kneel and lift 25 pounds
