Job Description

Manages a team of pharmacy employees who, under the direction of a physician, compound and dispense prescribed drugs in a healthcare facility environment. Oversees daily pharmacy operations. Monitors and audits drug inventory, ensures compliance with all regulatory guidelines and reporting. 

Experience with USP 797 and 800, managing sterile compounding of hazardous and non-hazardous infusion and injectable doses, as well as coverage of the cleanroom to prepare doses when needed.

Position will require remote coverage of Epic verification queue for other oncology infusion pharmacy operations.


Additional Job Description

Experience: minimum 5 years experience of direct oversight of pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements. Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
