PRODUCTION TEAM LEAD (3RD SHIFT) - CARROLLTON, TX.


OVERVIEW:
The Production Team Lead on 3rd shift is responsible for ensuring day-to-day operations progress smoothly. They directly supervise and mentor production associates in day-to-day operations and recommend improvements in production methods and procedures. The team lead ensures department compliance with company policies and procedures, and Federal, State, and Local regulations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Lead team members by providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support, and advice.
• Ensure all proper Safety and production procedures are followed.
• Trouble shoot equipment and provide guidance to meet company standards on quality and performance.
• Encourage and demonstrate dedicated teamwork and supportive attitudes between team members and other departments.
• Ensure standards for the department meet or exceed production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Find, investigate, and resolve any quality or production issues encountered in the department.
• Ensure production schedule is maintained and communicate with interrelated departments if off-track.
• Help team members by coaching and training them in accordance with company guidelines.
• Help to maintain the organization’s lean and continuous improvement methodology by identifying and removing waste in the process.
• Perform inspections and conduct routine audits of work areas for compliance to safety, sanitation, and quality requirements.
• Any other duties assigned by management.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2-4 years’ experience in manufacturing/production environment required.
• Leadership experience preferred.
