Cliff Drysdale Tennis is thrilled to announce an exciting career opportunity for a Video Production Specialist! This is a corporate role, preferably based in either New Braunfels, TX or Weston, FL.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Production Specialist to produce high-quality instructional, promotional, and curriculum-based videos for our racquet sports education and development platform. This platform serves coaches, players, and club professionals with accessible and engaging digital training content across tennis, pickleball, and other racquet sports. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling, is comfortable working with sports footage, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Editing & Post-Production-
- Edit instructional and promotional videos using footage captured by our team and partners.
- Assemble rough cuts and final edits for educational modules, coaching tips, and curriculum walkthroughs.
- Incorporate b-roll, graphics, animations, voiceover, and sound design to enhance viewer engagement.
- Pre-Production & Content Capture
- Plan and execute on-site and studio video shoots, including camera setup, lighting, and audio capture.
- Collaborate with coaches and team members to storyboard and visualize content prior to filming.
- Operate professional cameras, lenses, and stabilizers to achieve high-quality instructional and promotional footage.
- Direct on-camera talent to ensure clear delivery, visual appeal, and brand alignment.
- Capture engaging b-roll and supplemental footage to support storytelling and enhance final edits.
- Maintain and organize camera, lighting, and audio equipment; ensure all gear is properly prepared for shoots.
- Brand & Style Consistency-
- Ensure all videos align with our brand identity and maintain consistency in tone, transitions, and pacing.
- Use established templates and style guides or help develop new ones as needed.
- Collaboration & Communication-
- Work closely with coaches, project managers, and the education team to understand content goals and timelines.
- Provide creative input on video structure and visual storytelling during pre-production planning.
- File Management & Delivery-
- Organize, tag, and archive video assets and project files for ongoing reference and use.
- Export videos in required formats for LMS platforms, social media, and internal distribution.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally with instructional or sports-related content.
- Strong Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation using After Effects or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail.
- Proven experience operating professional video cameras (DSLR/mirrorless and cinema-grade) in studio and field environments.
- Strong knowledge of camera settings, recording formats, codecs, frame rates, and resolution (including UHD/4K workflows).
- Comfortable working with remote teams and managing multiple projects at once.
- Knowledge or interest in racquet sports (tennis, pickleball, padel) is highly preferred.
- Experience editing for LMS or e-learning platforms is a bonus.
